Our client, a key global leader in the life sciences sector, is recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a pivotal team in group finance. As Senior Financial Accountant, you will work as part of an established, high performing team to support the business through the production of financial information while ensuring statutory requirements are adhered to. The company has a long history of promotion and people very rarely leave the business, rather progress internally both within the same service lines and diversifying to other areas of finance.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of Monthly Financial Information for two or more European entities including Management Accounts
- Manage full Trial Balance and maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations Calculation of Cost-plus revenue
- Ensuring entities are compliant with local statutory requirements, i.e. VAT returns, Statutory Financial Statements, CT returns and all other filings are completed and filed in accordance with local legislation & timelines
- Liaising with local financial advisors to ensure efficient information flows to ensure local accounts are accurate
- Monthly and annual assistance with forecast and budget preparation
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with 2-3 years PQE
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent technical knowledge
