Our client, a leader in the service industry, is seeking to welcome a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their organisation. This role reports to the Senior Financial Accountant and works within a dynamic finance team. There is excellent mentorship, with study support and a clear career path for the right candidate with demonstrated progression within the existing team.
Responsibilities
– Assist in the month end close process, prepare & post journals
– Prepare VAT Liability reconciliation and variance analysis for month-end
– Prepayments & Accruals
– Assist in the budgets process
– Assist in continuous improvement of processes and global best practice
– Assist the senior reporting accountant and other key stakeholders in ad-hoc duties as they arise
Requirements
– Part-Qualified qualification in Accounting (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent)
– 2-3 years’ experience in an accounting/finance role
– Strong systems experience (Excel) essential, Oracle experience an advantage
– Excellent presentation and communication skills
– Demonstrated ability to be a team player and work towards deadlines
