Due to sustained growth, our client is now recruiting for an Assistant Accountant. This is a permanent role, sitting as an integral part of the Finance team, with significant scope to progress for an ambitious, commercially aware professional.
The successful candidate will be involved in this global, matrix business. You will gain a first-hand insight into how the organisation operates, working with senior management across the business.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Statutory reporting and liaising with external auditors
- Preparation of financial statements, bank recs, journals, accruals and pre postings
- Other ad hoc projects and duties as required
Requirements
- Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA), Accounting Technician or willing to pursue
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Aptitude to learn and be involved in a varied role/organisation
- Strong business acumen
