Our insurance client is currently hiring an IT Systems Engineer to join the team to assist with developing and maintaining applications, portals, and APIs in a multinational organization.


Job Summary

• Developing and maintaining applications, portals, and APIs written in Java and Python

• Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining application software.

• Ensuring the highest levels of application systems availability

• Experience with both Linux and Windows Server environments.

• Proficiency in various frameworks such as REACT, Angular, Django, Flask, Spring Boot, and Tomcat

• Knowledge and experience of automated testing

• Cloud Experience, preferably Azure

• Understanding of databases

• Supporting users of these applications

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD (Jenkins)

• Understanding of Agile working methodology

• Strong team player


• Develop, test, install, and maintain various application systems.

• Proactively ensure high availability of application systems

• Monitor and optimize application performance.

• Implement security, backup, and redundancy strategies.

• Contribute to the design of support systems.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and report to management.

• Provide user support and maintain system standards.

• Assist in problem-solving and troubleshooting IT issues.


• Java and Python programming experience

• Proficiency in REACT, Angular, Django, Flask, Spring Boot, and Tomcat

• Experience with Linux, MS Windows, and Windows Server

• Understanding of API security and authentication

• Familiarity with Azure Cloud

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)

• Strong problem-solving skills
