Our client is a leading Financial Services company who are looking to welcome a Financial Analyst to their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quarterly analysis reports and assisting their colleagues in finance. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to join a leading financial services company and develop their career, while working with some excellent people in this dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly analysis and provide commentary for management
- Work collaboratively with the branch team in the loading, analysis and reporting of client data
- Working closely with the underwriters and actuaries
- Review and assist with audit queries from internal and external auditors
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports for internal and intergroup customers
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Proactively drive personal development initiatives and cultivate own professional growth
Requirements
- You will either be qualified or progressing to qualification. Qualified by experience accountants will be considered
- Ideally you will have insurance/reinsurance experience
- Experienced in Microsoft Office applications
- Experienced in working with SAP and analytical tools (Power BI is an advantage)
- Excellent Excel skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
