Our client, a global reinsurance company is seeking to welcome a Financial Accountant to their team. This is a newly established position that will support the Head of Finance.
Responsibilities
· Preparation of Annual Financial Statements under Irish GAAP (FRS 102/103)
· Solvency II returns
· regulatory reporting
· Support internal and external audit processes.
· Support month-end, quarterly and annual close processes.
· Other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements
· Reinsurance/Insurance experience
· Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA)
· 0-3 years PQE
· Knowledge of Irish GAAP and IFRS
· Excellent IT skills (Excel)
· Strong communication skills
· Highly organised
