Our client, a global reinsurance company is seeking to welcome a Finance Team Leader to their team. This is a newly established position within the Finance Operations team, emphasising technical finance operational tasks such as billing, claims, reinsurance settlements, IPT, co-insurance, reconciliations, tax, and banking. You will be responsible for managing a team of 2 part-qualified accountants.
Responsibilities
- · Supporting the wider team with all day-to-day technical operational activities within the finance remit. Focussing on claims, reinsurance settlements, IPT, co-insurance,
- · Reconciliations, controls, tax and banking.
- · Systems implementation
- · Developing increased efficiencies and automation in the finance operations processes.
Requirements
- · Reinsurance/Insurance experience
- · Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA)
- · 3 years PQE
- · Knowledge of Irish GAAP and IFRS
- · Excellent IT skills (Excel)
- · Strong communication skills
- · Highly organised
