Compensation: €75-85k basic DOE plus bonus, pension, healthcare etc
Our client, a highly acquisitive division of one of Ireland’s most well-known companies, is recruiting for a qualified accountant to join its core finance team in Dublin. This role has the potential to be offered at Divisional Financial Accountant or Divisional Finance Manager level depending on experience and the successful candidate will be involved in all elements of this fast-growing business, including M&A for upcoming international acquisitions, before getting the opportunity to move to a senior finance role within the business within 18-24 months.
The ideal candidate will be a Big 4/Top 10 trained accountant with 1-3 years PQE in either practice or industry. Manufacturing exposure is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Managing key reporting for the Division
- Acting as finance liaison between global teams and Group
- Providing key financial analysis and associated insights
- Supporting on M&A, post-acquisition integration and reviews of acquired business
Requirements
- Qualified accountant – ideally Big 4/Top 10 or with exposure to dynamic and complex multinationals
- Manufacturing exposuer is a plus
- Excellent technicall skills but, as crucially, a keen interest in business and desire to use commercial acumen alongside finance skillset
- Ability to build relationships with finance and non-finance staff throughout the business
- Willingness to travel as required – this will be on an ad hoc basis based on anticipated needs rather than a set travel schedule
