My client, a market leading, global company are recruiting for a Treasury Analyst. An ideal opportunity to join a fast moving and dynamic function within the Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, keen to develop their experience and to work as part of a team to support our activities in managing global liquidity and FX risk across the business and to drive further improvements in systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring and management of the central group liquidity position
  • Assist in managing the surplus cash portfolio using a range of investment instruments within tight limits and controls
  • Assist in managing internal funding and loan arrangements
  • Support business units in managing FX exposures and executing internal/external hedge transactions
  • Assist in counterparty risk management and reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of the daily market overview, daily debt, weekly cash investment and monthly KPI reports
  • Providing periodic and ad-hoc management reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders
  • Supporting various projects and initiatives in treasury operations (design, implementation and follow-up including implementation of Swift)
  • Co-ordination with mid and back-office: bank mandates, confirmation of trades, cashflow and interest forecasting

Requirements

  • A background or degree in finance or economics or 1-2 years  of experience in this area
  • Knowledge of financial markets, electronic banking systems, cash management structures and traded treasury instruments and systems would be an advantage, as would any corporate treasury qualifications held
  • Strong interest in financial markets and corporate treasury management
  • Strong collaboration, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
