A US Biopharma company, with their European HQ based here in Dublin, are recruiting a suitably qualified Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in a number two position.

This role will work closely with the Senior Accounting & Tax Manager, taking ownership of the General & Admin FP&A function and statutory compliance for the Irish entity.

Candidates will have trained in practice, and have c. 3-4 years PQE in an industry role. Prior FP&A/analysis experience is desirable.


  • Create/update accrual models and posting of accrual journals for G&A Prepare monthly actual vs. plan variance analysis
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts for departments
  • Act as Business Partner lead in routine meetings with functional heads to develop understanding of key activities and drivers of expense
  • Assist in the collaboration with department heads to align financial plan and corporate
  • Partnering with Procurement and AP to facilitate communication and problem resolution with operations
  • Preparation of monthly dashboard reports to functional heads including executive summary
  • Systems support to include updating and maintaining expense and FTE records in TM1 (budgeting and reporting application) for G&A departments
  • Reconciliation of Accrual accounts.
  • Preparation of invoices to collaboration partners, reconciliation of AR accounts and analysis of aged balances.
  • Review of product returns estimate and posting of adjustments to ensure accuracy of accrual.
  • Preparation and management of the annual statutory financials & audit under IFRS
  • Preparation of IFRS vs US GAAP adjustments
  • Ensuring compliance with Directors Compliance Statement and SOX 404 key controls
  • Assist with various ad-hoc finance projects


  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with three years post qualification industry experience
  • Knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP
  • Knowledge of Microsoft AX is a plus
  • Strong ability to manage deadlines
  • Superior Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
