Payroll Specialist

My client, a professional services firm, are seeking a Payroll Specialist for a newly created position.

  • Collate payroll data
  • Process payroll for a number of clients
  • Manage payslip distribution
  • Process payroll payments, where required
  • File & pay PAYE returns
  • Produce csv files for upload to accounts software
  • Liaise with clients
  • Liaise closely with fellow accounts team members
  • 2+ years experience processing payroll for a large client base. 
  • Payroll qualification desirable but not necessary.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Irish payroll system.
  • Prior experience of running multiple payrolls in a monthly cycle.
  • IT competencies to include good level of Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Motivated individual with ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to process a wide variety of payrolls each with different pay slip, payment and information requirements.
