A leading Irish construction and services company are hiring a Payroll Specialist to work within their rapidly growing company. The role will involve significant exposure to the senior directors and full ownership for the Group’s payroll of over 300 employees.

Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurate processing of weekly/monthly payroll for ROI/UK
  • Ensuring our European businesses payrolls are processed by our third party partners on time and accurately
  • Liaising with finance to ensure payrolls are accurately processed
  • Monthly tracking of actual v’s budget in conjunction with finance
  • Maintaining, tracking and reporting on all holiday allowances
  • Establish and maintain employee records. Ensure all employee changes are accurately captured on the system and made on a timely basis
  • Manage the monthly/annual tax and statutory filings
  • Assisting with Audits

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of the ROS System
  • Hold a Payroll qualification with IPASS
  • Strong technical skills, quick to learn new systems
  • 3+ years’ experience in payroll with a clear understanding of ROI/HMRC payroll revenue requirements
  • Ambitious and looking to take the next step in their career
  • Energetic and inquisitive
  • Demonstrable team play
  • Demonstrable track record of taking ownership of their role/function and meeting key deliverables
  • Attention to detail a must with a high degree of self-discipline
