Our Client, a leading Aircraft leaser,is looking for a permanent Asset Manager to join their South Dublin team.
The successful candidate will be a team player willing to work with a disciplined approach to tight deadlines. The individual must display an aptitude for numerical analysis, must demonstrate a systematic approach to the interpretation of legal documents and must have particular attention to detail.
The individual must be computer literate with significant experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Aviation experience is desirable, but not essential. The Financial Asset Administration department implement Company policy with regard to the management of a portfolio of approximately 170 aircraft and engines. The successful candidate will assist the Head of Financial Asset Management in the day-to-day management of a large number of aircraft lease contracts.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of quarterly cash flow reports for Joint Venture Entities
- Preparation of monthly financial reports to external lenders
- Assisting in preparation and/or review of various aircraft related calculations for use by various departments
- Assisting in the review of transaction budgets
- Preparation of aircraft maintenance projections for commercial team
- Assisting in the due diligence process of aircraft acquisitions from an Asset Management perspective
- Assisting in lease reviews and contract set up on the contract management system
- Developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures
- Support key internal departments including Legal, Marketing, Accounting and Technical on a daily basis by providing information and assisting in solving problems
- Providing support to deal team during aircraft transactions
- Assisting in the implementation of Lease Point (a new contract management system)
- Perform any other duties the Company may assign to you from time to time
- Provide senior management with meaningful information/reports as requested
Requirements
- ACCA / ACA / CPA / CIMA qualified
- Relevant University degree
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Proactive and results driven, able to set priorities and meet challenges head on
- Aircraft leasing experience desirable
