We are looking for a highly commercial accountant who is better suited to business partnering than financial reporting for a position with one of the top ranked global pharmaceutical companies.
This role will ideally suit a qualified accountant (1-3 years PQE) with product costing experience, an ability to communicate effectively with non-finance staff as well strong SAP experience.
Salary is guided at €60-65k basic and benefits include 29 days annual leave, 16% pension, full healthcare and a significant bonus.
Responsibilities
- Acting as Finance Business Partner to the local manufacturing plant
- Responsibility for sales, product costing and inventory management for API products
- Monthly plant reporting
- Produce costing reports and analysis
- Preparation of sales, product costs, stock information and conversion costs for inclusion in annual budget and interim forecasts
Requirements
- Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Accounting environment
- Detailed knowledge of SAP, including FI/CO. SD & MM modules
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Good knowledge and practical experience of product costing
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Planning and organising
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Flexible and team player
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
