Our client is the gold standard for technology consultancy in Ireland and, due to exciting growth, they are recruiting for a Financial Reporting Consultant.

This role sits at the point where finance, systems and communication converge and, as a result, the ideal candidate will thrive in a people-facing environment where he/she can act in a business partner capacity by liaising with senior stakeholders across all disciplines and divisions. Key clients include well-known Plcs and multinationals. You will be a part or fully qualified accountant with a strong understanding of financial/management accounts and, ideally, have previous systems implementation/migration experience.


  • Defining and scoping of proposed reporting solutions for clients/prospects
  • Preparation of PreSales ‘demos’ and prototypes
  • Consultant role during implementations – reporting to the Project Manager
  • System Configuration
  • Data migration
  • Report writing
  • Solution testing
  • Liaise with technical consultants in the deployment of the solutions
  • Prepare and provide end-user training to client personnel
  • Provision of on-going support to clients post Go Live


  • Degree in Business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent
  • Professional accounting qualification or part-qualification
  • Experience delivering financial reporting
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Experience of a financial reporting solution as an end user a distinct advantage
  • Good knowledge of financial and management reporting
  • Proven financial acumen – achieved either through proven experience as a finance professional (e.g. Management Accountant/Controller position) or practical experience as a consultant implementing similar solutions
  • Self-motivated and capable of working alone to strict deadlines and also working as a member of a team
  • Excellent communication skills are a must
