My client, a well-known insurance company, with operations in Ireland, UK and across Europe are hiring for a Finance Manager to cover a maternity contract. The role will report into he Head of Finance.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of annual report for a regulated entity within the Irish group of companies
- Preparation of financial reports for Board as required
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for including all balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitor and review all intercompany balances
- Preparation of weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
- Responsibility for accounts payable function for reporting entity
- Preparation of Quarterly CSO returns
- Preparation of Solvency II QRT’s
- Solvency II –Ensure all SII reporting requirements are met in line with expectations
- Ad hoc projects as required
Requirements
- This person will be a qualified ACA / ACCA with in excess of 3 years PQE
- This person will previously have worked in financial services. An insurance, funds or investment background with experience in Solvency II would be very desirable for this role
- Experience of Oracle Financials, Smartview, Sun GL and Access would be an advantage
