My client is currently recruiting a Finance Manager for a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience at a more senior level of the insurance/assurance industry.


  • Preparation of annual report for a regulated entity within the Irish group of companies
  • Preparation of financial reports for Board as required
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for including all balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monitor and review all intercompany balances
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Responsibility for accounts payable function for reporting entity
  • Preparation of Quarterly CSO returns
  • Preparation of Solvency II QRT’s
  • Solvency II –Ensure all SII reporting requirements are met in line with expectations
  • Ad hoc projects as required


  • This person will be a qualified ACA / ACCA with in excess of 3 years PQE
  • This person will previously have worked in financial services. An insurance, funds or investment background with experience in Solvency II would be very
  • desirable for this role
  • Experience of Oracle Financials, Smartview, Sun GL and Access would be an advantage
