One of Ireland’s leading real estate and property consultancy firms is recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance role and be a well organised individual who has a proven track record in finance administration.


  • Primary responsibility for the maintenance of financial records
  • Management of the bank accounts and the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
  • Management of billing process and of debtors ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Payroll preparation (external processor used)
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Assisting with preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets
  • Assistance with preparation of year end accounts
  • Assistance with annual audits
  • Involvement in financial aspects of property management, including recording of income, assistance in service charge budgeting, allocation, monitoring and collection


  • Qualified Accounting Technician or similar
  • A minimum of 3 – 4 years’ experience in a finance environment
  • Technically competent energetic self-starter
  • Strong experience in the use of Excel & Word
  • Well organised and methodical
  • Attentive to detail
  • Experience with software packages AccountsiQ, Quickbooks and Qube PM (Property Management) would be an advantage
