A leading property development company are looking for an Accounts Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their experience in accounts. Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Property Managers and Head of Client Accounting in respect of commercial billings and credit control:
  1. Raise tenant rents and service charge billings on a quarterly and monthly basis
  2. Monitor bank accounts daily, and allocate rents and service charge receipts to the accounting package
  3. Credit control is a key element of this role
  • Responsible for the commercial property payables function:
  1. Monitor daily the accounts payable folder
  2. Co-ordinate with Property Managers to approve invoices for payment and analysis of expense to service charge budgets
  3. Posting Invoices to Supplier Ledgers & timely payment of same
  • Assist Property Managers with ad hoc queries
  • Assist with Service Charge Budget preparation and reviews
  • Assisting in the preparation of Audit files for service charge audits at year end, liaising with auditors
  • Preparation of Balancing charges/credits to tenants
  • Preparation of weekly, monthly & quarterly Client reports on Excel
  • Record residential rent on Letman – the Residential Lettings package
  • Process supplier invoices on Letman
  • Process weekly landlord rent payments net of fees and expenses
  • Assist with month end reporting for one significant client

 

Requirements

  • At least 1 years accounts experience
  • Previous credit control experience with persistent attitude to the debt collection
  • Knowledge of Yardi highly desirable
  • Organised, logical approach with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and to work to deadlines
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Strong Excel skills
